What is Jinn Catching and is it permissible?

Jinn catching is an innovated method of “ruqya” used by the sufis where they try to “catch” the jinn in a third person who acts as a “portal”. In reality, this is nothing more than seeking the assistance of the jinn and it may even fall into shirk.
